RWG continuously strives to further optimise the logistical handling at its terminal. In this context, as of mid-February 2024, RWG has added the expected discharge time of containers to the data elements in MCA*. With this addition, alongside all other investments by RWG in the landside process, it is now possible to plan the collection of containers even more efficiently.
To continue sharing high-quality data and investing in the landside process in the future, the peak surcharge will be increased by €2.50 (excluding VAT) to €17.50 (excluding VAT) from 1 May 2024.
RWG operates a 100% CO2 neutral terminal for all its own equipment. Sustainability is a key strategic objective for RWG, which is entirely in line with the Port of Rotterdam Authority's vision for the future of the port of Rotterdam. In line with this strategy, RWG has developed a very extensive ongoing investment programme for the coming years, aimed at being a consistent partner for all modalities in the transition to 100% CO2 neutral supply chains on water, road and rail. This initiative also supports all parties in meeting future EU and government regulations in time. In this context, a sustainability contribution of €2.95 (excluding VAT) per lorry will be introduced from 1 May 2024. This contribution does not apply to zero emission lorries.
Accepting General Terms and Conditions
Due to these new developments, RWG's general terms and conditions have been amended. Anyone wishing to use RWG's services must therefore accept RWG's general terms and conditions again in the SecureLogistics portal before 30 April 2024. If the amended terms are not accepted again before 1 May 2024, no time slots can be booked at RWG from 1 May 2024. For more information, see www.rwg.nl
